*Raven settled into her seat on the bed and dropped her head between her knees, trying to calm herself down. Settle down Raven...Obviously the demons are getting to you... Stop taking it out on Raphael! She slowly lifted her head up to look at the vampire in the corner, who was watching her. He threw a flask filled with a liquid to her and she caught it effortlessly. She gave him a questioning look as if to ask why he was giving her more alcohol, which he then followed up by saying it was blood. She looked at him again before she unscrewed the top, and brought it to her lips, drinking down the warm metalically flavor. It was refreshing to be drinking human blood again. The last few days she hadn't had any, the blood of a fox and two demons flowed through her, but no human. She almost forgot how much she loved the taste. Her eyes closed and she licked her lips of the blood when the flask was empty. She was about to screw the top on and hand the flask back when it refilled itself. Raven looked at it in amazement; she remembered hearing something about a magic flask, but never had seen it before. She drank more of the blood from it before handing it back, hoping it'd calm her down.*
"There, I think I've settled down now...sorry for my behavior."
*She layed back on the bed, letting her legs hang over the edge, and folded her hands back behind her head. Her thoughts were clouded, there were many things running through her head, yet she didnt want to think, fearing Damian would hear everything. She then felt guilty about wanting to drink from Raphael, and horrified at the same time that she wanted to use a demon for information on her own kind. She felt she owed it to him to at least tell him why she wanted to speak with Damian. For that was the only reason. She sighed, but didn't move from her position on the bed, but spoke to Raphael like she was talking to his face.*
"I...I don't know exactly how this telepathy stuff works. I didn't realize that I could direct exact thoughts to him, or if he would hear what I wanted."
*She hesitated...the blood she just drank rushing to her face.*
"I wanted to see if he knew what would happen if I drank from you...but I didn't want you to know about it. You have your own Trinity of sorts...I...wanted more power."
*She sat up this time and looked into his eyes, letting them show sorrow, but seriously wanting to know what would happen.*
"I respect you though...and unlike the demons, I wouldn't drink without your permission..."

Raphael laughed slightly, more about the thought she was having, and the impossibility of it all. He knew very well he would be able to escape Raven's clutches should she had tried, he was immune to such things as a vampire gaze. But he was not here to stroke his ego, he was here to talk with Raven, who seemed depressed. He had accepted her apology with nothing more than a simple nod, he never got to upset over things. He had lost friends much quicker than this, and while she might be strong, he would live. He only needed himself. With those thoughts out of the way, he openned the flask, and took a swig of the crimson liquid, before shoving it back in his coat.
"While I am impressed by your honesty, and humbled by you thinking I lack skills. Trust me, even if you tried to bit this neck, you would fail." He then thought about how she spoke of the black trinity, and she thought of his own. He only shook his head and smiled. "You must understand, I had no trinity, I only drank from Stratus, Zjevha did something much more... demonic, his mark his more spiritual than anything. I am the key that would let those two walk the earth again, Sobek may own the door, but they lost the lock." He smiled, oh so charmingly.
"We need now to plan your next move, granted they can both hear your thoughts, so this could be hard. But if they can hear you, then you must be able to hear them. Tell me, is there something you cannot gather from them? Some thought or something that is fuzzy to you? If so, then the reverse again would be true." As he spoke he waved his hand about, he seemed not to be there, yet complacent in the enviorment.
His back seemed to be loose, as though he was comfortable, but his words were far off, as he was recalling something. But in reality his mind was somewhere else entirely, he was standing face to face with Zjevha and Stratus. He was unsure if it was the real two, or just their ghost in his body. He had long ago shut them off, but when the two wanted to work together, they could over come his barriers. They now glarred at him, and he only smiled. Their thoughts became in his head, and they were asking about the time, and when it would take place. Stratus was asking when he would be freed, and Zjevha wanted to know when Raphael would open the portal. Raphael gritted his teeth, telling thme he was working on, and to leave him alone. Their eyes grew brighter, but the area behind them grew darker, finally gone, and Raphael openned his eyes. He was unsure if Raven had spoken, if it had only been twenty seconds, or twenty minutes.
"Bastards."

*Raven scowled at Raphael for probably the tenth time that night, as he laughed at her. He thought she wouldnt be able to bite him, but she could, she was sure of that. But as she promised, she wouldn't even try to bite him without his permission. He was her...friend. Yes, though she knew she couldn't trust him completely, she did still have some trust in him. He maybe be evil, and a lie, but if he was going to be her ally, she needed some faith in him. Maybe if she showed him that she trusted him, he'd trust her. She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye.*
"I could bite you you know, and there would be nothing you could do to stop me. But that doesn't matter, I wouldnt want to ruin our friendship by trying anyway."
*Raven thought about Raphael's question about knowing what Damian and Cyrax were thinking, and it depressed her that she was getting nothing from them. She moved her hands to the edge of the comforter, and swung her legs back and forth on the bed, without her feet touching the ground. She looked down at the floor when she spoke to him.*
"First, I can only communicate with Damian through telepathy...that I know of. And second...I'm not getting anything from him...nothing that he doesn't want me to hear anyway. I think he's figured out how to block me, and I haven't yet. Now I'm afraid Cyrax will pop in and control my body whenever he wants. I've never really been scared before...but this terrifies me. I don't want to be attached to them. It's not even that I can't kill them...I just want to feel like myself again."
*Raven jumped down from the bed and began to pace back and forth with her hands crossed behind her back. She concentrated hard on keeping Damian out of her head, trying to learn how to put up a mental block.*
"I think that I'm going to have to meet with them...work something out...what, I dont know yet..."

Raphael again smiled, he didn't feel the need to prove he was stronger than her, and he felt it was pointless to argue, so he let it drop. But should the time come, she would be in for the shock of her life. It is when she said friend that he was taken slightly off guard, his face blank at the mention. He was more than a little confused when she said, seeing as she seemed more than a little disapointed before. But he quickly recovered, and though he was positive she saw his expression. He didn't want nor need friends, and he didn't want her thinking he was one. But then again, maybe it wasn't him who need the friend, maybe it was her. That was something he had to stop and think about.
He then blinked twice, pushing the information far from his mind, he needed to pay attention to the matter at. He knew Damian was a strong mage, and him being able to block her came as no surprise. But she was equally as strong, just in other ways. Why she couldn't block Damian, Raphael didn't know, it was doubtful he would ever know. But she would find away, it could be something so simple as finding a ring, some sort of ring of telepathy that would block it out. He personally didn't have any on him at the present, but he could undoubtedly find one. He tapped his chin at that thought.
He then watched her pace back and forth, trying to clear the webs in her mind. He knew all about that, he had done it numerious times himself. Yet the only way it ever worked was to just stop and think things through, rationally. Logic was the key to any understand, whether she figured that out now or later made little difference. More than anything, she more than likely just wanted to vent, which was why she flipped out at him.
"Well don't just walk in, thinking they are going to help. Remember, they are going to use this for their own advantage, be it sinister, or some how benificial. Always keep the upper hand yourself, or at least be equal. Damian maybe be able to shut you out from getting into his mind, but he still gets all your information. So it may be something so simple as overloading him with two much information, you can plant seeds of doubt, or even cause him embarssing thoughts that he thought were his own. Like how hot Raphael is. The vampire said with a wink, but then stopped and looked at the door.
He stood then, and walked to the far side, and leaned against the door, he had seen a shadow past by it, and it was not accompanied by a slamming door. Raphael placed his ear against the wood, and held up a finger for Raven to continue talking. He however, was listening for breathing, which he heard. He himself, needed not to breath, and thus didn't. The pitter-patter of feet followed, and Raphael knew he moved away. But it meant that someone was following him, or her, he was not sure. But he didn't like it.
"We may have company soon, you ready to fight your way out of here?" He made sure to check his two weapons, and then he felt his sleeves, looking for his throwing stars. He then nodded his head and looked at Raven. He knew it was no longer safe here, and he would be leaving, she was undoubtedly safe, as Damian and Cyrax would not want her dead. But someone might want them dead, and would do so through her. The tables were certainly become turned, and not well.

*Raven continued to pace back and forth, but listened as Raphael spoke. Her problem had to be lack of concentration, because ever since the connection happened, she hadn't been able to concentrate at all. Maybe if she pushed everything from her mind, she could block him. Sending him thoughts that no man should ever be thinking might be fun too. But that would have to wait right now, for she too heard the sounds outside their door. Her mind was to muddied up right now to decipher the scent, but she was sure Raphael would know.*
*Something was following one of them, who, she wasn't sure, but she didn't like it one bit. When Raphael asked her if she was ready to fight, her eyes flared to life, and she was eager. She needed to fight something, needed to feel its life slip, needed to know that it was all her doing. Killing was what she lived for, maybe once she got back into it, she'd gain her state of mind back.*
"I'm always ready."
*She reached down for her sword with her left hand, and her dagger with her right. They came out of their sheaths silently, and she wielded them like an assissain. No one would ever guess she was a temptress. She looked up at Raphael, who was also getting ready for the attack, and grinned, eyes already glowing red.*
"Lets kick some ass!"

Raphael, instead of grabbing his swords, grabbed the chair instead, holding it by the back two legs. It would seem odd to anyone there, but then again, just about everything the vampire did was odd. He never made a sane choice, it is possible when it came to battle, he threw reason right out the windom. He shifted his left leg back, and his left shoulder followed suit. He stood a little behind Raven, and the top of the chair came to about where her hands were extend outward. His smile extended upwards.
Finally he heard the steps coming closer, but now there seemed like there were more. Possibly three, he turned to Raven and nodded his head. Then heard a flick, and his eyes tightened, dropping the chair, he rushed at Raven, quickly grabbing her. The door burst open, flames licking at the wooden pieces. Raphael glanced up from the bed, and saw two of the men with swords, and the other with flames around his hands. A mage.
"Undoubtedly I don't need to tell you to MOVE!!!" Raphael said as he pushed Raven to the side as fire sprang up where they just used to be.
Rolling up, Raphael had pulled his sword and dagger out. His smile was still set in his face, and it was unsettling to the men in front. All three were humans, and all three looked like bounty hunters, though who had the bounty, Raphael was unsure. He then flicked his dagger with his wrist, flipping in into the main-gauche form. His eyes darkened, and then he charged.
He was unsure of what Raven would do, but he meant to attack the mage first, but he would have to defeat at least one of the swordsmen. Which would be easy enough, and he simply charged. As he got closer, he kicked his foot out, striking the fallen chair. And then he jumped forward, almost after it. However, he was on his back. While the man with the sword hacked the chair in half, he failed to see Raphael close in under him, however, he fell once he lost use of his feet. Raphael flipped up almost instantly, nicking a vein in his neck, the blood squirted everywhere. He expected Raven to have take care of the other man.
He knoew through himself at the mage, who was summoning another spell to throw at the two. But Raphael was able to hack his hand of, and it fell to the floor, the hand burst into flames. Raphael then raised his sword to the man's neck.
"Who the hell are you working for." Raphael said, and his eyes narrowed, but the man simply fell to the floor, grasping his stub of a hand. He tapped the man with his sword, who simply whimpered, and Raphael asked the question again. Raphael looked at Raven.

*Raven grinned when the door burst open. She could smell the flames, and knew that she didn't need to move. Fire couldn't hurt her as long as she was careful, but Raphael didn't seem to know this, and grabbed her out of the way of the blast. She wasn't angry with him, but surprised to see that he cared enough to even move her.*
*The human blood tempted her, but she knew better, and let the urge pass. Raphael took the first two men through the door, and Raven watched him kill the first, and smiled.*
"Show off!"
*She turned her attention to the third man with a sword. He seemed very inexperienced with a sword, or maybe he just didn't compare to her own skills. He slashed at her, and she held him back with her own sword. She brought her right hand in and sliced the back of his hand with her dagger, causing him to drop the sword. She found it with her foot, and kicked it backwards, out of the way of the intruders.*
*The mans eyes widened in horror, for he hadn't expected her to know how to fight. It made sense on one level. Three armed men, come breaking into a hotel room where another man had carried a drunken women. She figured they had thought Raphael would be an easy kill. Hah.*
*Raven held the man with her eyes, and smiled dangerously at him. She sheathed her sword, but kept her dagger out. Her now free hand played at the waistline of jeans, taunting the human. He was now backed into a corner, and she could smell the fear on his breath. She moved up so she was inches away from him, and had she been human with their pathetic sense of smell, she would have smelled his pungent breath. She leaned her forehead against his and glared into his eyes. Her dagger began tracing up his body, leaving a trail of blood where she pressed hard enough. The dagger was now at his throat, and she had her body pressed against his. She moved her lips over to his ear and spoke softly into it.*
"You thought you'd come up here, kill the man and rape me, then kill me and steal our valuables?"
*Her breath was hot against his neck as she moved her lips away from his ear. The dagger traild down his body again, leaving another trail of blood.*
"Your blood is making me hungry...I might not let it go to waste after i kill you..."
*She let her lips move down from his noes and to his lips, where she took his bottom lip in her mouth. She bit down, drawing blood, while he whimpered in pain. Seconds later, she shoved the dagger into his groin and twisted it, laughing as he fell to the floor. The dagger slid out easily as when he hit the ground and she knelt next to the roaring human.*
"Rape is bad."
*With a wink, she drove the dagger into his heart and pulled it out after she felt his life slip away. She then turned her attention to Raphael, who had the mage cornered, demanding to know who the men worked for. Oh goodie! There might be more people for her to kill!*
*Before she stood up, she reached into the pants of the dead man, and ripped his torn penis out, then moved to where Raphael stood. She held the thing up in front of the third mans face, glowered at him with her red eyes, and spoke between clenched teeth.*
"Talk now, otherwise this could be you."

Raphael simply looked back over his shoulder as he heard the groans from behind. He saw Raven standing over the man, holding the man's genitalia. Raphael meerly shook his head, and focused back on the man at hand. The mage was, over course, still whimpering over his lost hand, but his eyes soon widened when Raven stood over him waving the blood lump in her hands, commanding him to speak. His words were studdered.
"I dddon't kknnno... now. They just sent uuus a letter, telling uus to ki... kill you." He blinked, and then pointed at Raphael. "Him. Pleeease... doon..." His words were cut short by Raphael slicing his neck, severing veins and his windpipe. The man grabbed his throat which was now leaking blood, and looking horrorified at Raphael. He had expected the woman to kill him, not the vampire, and not so cruelly. His death was slow, and his thoughts raced through his mind, though finally he slumped down. Many of the people had locked themselves in, not wishing to be apart of it all. Though Raphael knew they would be looking.
Raphael simply flicked his left wrist, and the dagger shook of the blood that was on it. His other sword simply ate all the blood that it had connected with. He smiled as the sword seemed well pleased with the meal that was now at hand, or was at hand. But what the man had said was disturbing, mainly because Raphael knew all the people that wanted to kill him, he just wasn't sure who sent these men, they seemed... out of place. He shoved both weapons into the sheaths, and then reached over and grabbed his hat, but instead of putting it on his head, he shoved it into his coat pocket, it seemed that just about anything fit inside of it, and indeed that was true. He then walked back to the body, he simply blinked, deep in thought.
Turning to Raven, he placed his hand on her shoulder, and glanced down at the object in her hand. He laughed, amusingly, mainly to himself. He then leaned in and kissed her on the cheek. With his golden eyes only inches from her's, he spoke. His voice was pure, and the smell on his breath smelled like mint, not strong, more inviting. "So, I am afriad we must part now, I am sure you can take care of yourself, and need not my help." Looking back, he released the woman, and spun to leave, then turned. He reached in to his coat, once again, and grabbed a ring. Placing it in his hand, he flipped it to her. Not seeing if she caught it or not, as he looked away, he simply spoke. "That ring is connected to another," He pointed at his own finger. "Basically it allows us to talk without being next to one another, much like telepathy, just slip it on, I will be there."
With a nod, he exited the hallway, walking down the stairs, he made his way through the bar. Many patrons were starting to head up stairs to see what was going on. Raphael himself simply lifted the hood on his cloak, and vanished. No one saw him leave. Rounding a corner, he lifted his hood, and placed the hat back on his head, after pulling it from the pocket. The large feather was more than a little exuberant. Touching the feather, it turned a few shades of color, and finally he settled on red. He smiled, and went to the docks. He would need a ride back to Asyut, someone wanted to kill him, and he was unsure as to who.
