Interesting… Perhaps Smite could play a more important role than just gaining him more magic. Damian moved Revenge before him, and flipped it over, so that the tip of the blade came in contact with the ground, then moved his other hand to the hilt. Interesting indeed…
[Maroon]“Perhaps we can work this out amicably… Instead of your magic, how about you grant me the knowledge that I can call upon your support whenever I need it, in exchange that I will keep your secret. However, should you not show up when I request your presence, I can assure you that I’ll claim more than your life. Does this deal settle with you better?”[/Maroon]
Damian waited in silence, for Smite to think of this new proposition. It would basically mean that the dragon was his permanent ally, until death claimed him. In Damian’s eyes, it was not as useful as Smite’s magic, for now, but in the long run, it could prove useful to have the dragon at his beckoning call.

Not a word came out of Smite's mouth as he was taken back by the new offer. He was never anyone’s master, never had been, and he thought he never would be. He longed for peace, a time he could be left alone, and it seemed that time would never come. However Damian offered him only one person to answer to, and that was Damian, the other ways would result in him having to answer to all the lords of the land who needed help.
He grunted and spoke. “So be it.” His claws clenched shut as he said this, pain rushing through his body as a new feeling went over him, the feeling for the first time of being dominated by someone else, it infuriated him, but he was Dragon of his word, always had been unless it was to someone like Stratus or Cyrax.
“I trust you know the spells to summon beings, and I trust you know how to modify it. You have my agreement to bind me to one. However I ask you allow me freedom, to roam this island or a larger area of your choosing, Dragons need room, else their strength quickly fails.” Smite a faint and barely visible snarl at what he was saying, he hated himself currently for agreeing to this.

It was apparent that Smite wasn’t particularly thrilled with this deal, but it obviously pleased him more than the last one. Damian actually never expected Smite to accept the offer, as the Dragon King didn’t seem to be the type to answer to anyone, but this life of solitude must be worth it. Damian knew how the dragon felt, and also knew how hard it was to answer to someone, and if presented with this same situation, wouldn’t have made the same choice as Smite. Damian nodded at the comment about summons, he was well versed in many different methods of summonings.
[Maroon]“You are free to roam where ever it is you choose. You wouldn’t be any use to me if you lost your strength.”[/Maroon]
With that said, Damian nodded towards Smite again, before vanishing from sight. The dragon was sure to feel where he moved to, which was Darkshore, to greet his latest guest - Raven Von Winter.
