Cyrax sat upon his throne of stone and, had he known, that Damian would have shone, in Bablyon, he would have sent a clone or a drone, but instead he just moaned.
"Where is she?" he thought, beginning to pout.
Much fun was had with Mernilior, Damian's spy, but now he was gone and there was no one to play with. Perhaps Mernilior would escape to inform Damian of Cyrax's location. That way, he could wait for his former student and then close the vice grips on his head! Similar to what he does in the crypt!
"Bwahahahahaha!"
"Meh......" he thought, after just laughing out loud like a maniac.
It was not his fault that he was so evil. Well, ok yeah it was. So, it made sense that people, such as Raven Von Winter, would be too scared to show up.

*Raven arrived Kyrtos shortly after her visit to Babylon. Raphael was supposed to have come with her to meet Cyrax, but he needed to deliver the letter from the fox to Alexandria. She wasnt sure if he was going to make it back in time for the meeting. What Cyrax wanted with her, she didnt know, and she didn't much care. If she got the chance, she'd kill him on the spot, but if he were as powerful as she's heard, it might be best to wait till she had a clear plan.*
*She waited at the edge of the city, just watching. She wouldn't be going into the demons lair, she wasn't stupid. If Cyrax wanted to meet with her, he'd have to come to her. If he pulled any tricks, she was gone, and wouldn't be coming back. He was lucky she was even here in the first place.*
"Cyrax, I have arrived."
*She shouted her words into the wind, knowing the demon would hear her. Her eyes were already glowing red, and the rage eminated from her body just from being in a demons city. Once he came near her, things would heat up really fast...literally.*

"My master awaits, inside"
The voice, coming from the shadows, was Human and Raven could smell his presence immediately. The scent was delicious to her, no doubt, as he was the typical prey of her kind. However, the ancient Vampire was now on Cyrax's land and should act appropriately. After all, the legends of Raven Von Winter were of a beautiful lady and not of some dishonorable swine.
Raven was also no fool though, so to walk into a possible trap made the situation difficult.
"You most likely would have been attacked or killed by now, if he wanted you dead......but, if you are too frightened to continue on, i understand"
Cerius, the Dark Guild member who was sent to meet Raven, chuckled a bit and began to turn toward the main gates. If she wanted to meet with one of the most powerful creatures alive than she would move forward. If not, she could simply leave. Would she regret it though, if she turned around to leave?
As Cerius moved ahead of her the black mist seemed to clear slightly. The Human had no control over any of the magic surrounding the town, but he and the other guild members were granted slight powers for being loyal servants. A few of said powers would be the ability to trek the dark mist with no light, seeing as how it clears automatically for them, and also the ability of limited invisibility. Other than that, they were what they were; simple pawns.
The main gates to the town open slowly to allow entrance. Raven could enter if she wanted and Cerius already started moving forward. Hopefully she would not notice the Demon guild member who opened the gate. Her hatred for Demons was well known and it was certainly interesting that Cyrax would risk his own life to meet with her. Certainly it was just for some tea and bisquits!
Cerius stopped about 40 yards to the wall of mountain which made up the rear of the town. Kyrtos was built 'into' the mountains and therefore acted as an excellent lair for Cyrax. A simple abandoned town, on the outside, hid the real location of the evil magician and the Dark Guild.
"I can go no further" he said, bowing slightly to the lady warrior.
Ahead, on the mountain, were torches which ignited immediately after Cerius finished speaking. The Human looked to her one more time before leaving and moving toward one of the abandoned buildings inside the town.
The two torches furthest to the right and left extinguished, leaving only the two in the center. With her keen eyesight, no doubt Raven could see the slits revealed; showing the outline of a door.
Now, all she had to do was approach it to enter.

*Raven paced back and forth with her arms crossed behind her back. She didnt think Cyrax would meet her out here, even though it was he who wanted to meet her, not the other way around. She was here to kill him.*
*She was no longer dressed in her red dress, but a more modern and possibly more harmless look. She looked like any other teenager, in her tank top and jeans, yet posed a greater threat. Raven liked it when people underestimated her...it made her job that much easier.*
*Raven sensed the human before she heard him, and scowled when he spoke to her. She had the urge to rip him apart just because he was a servent of a demon, but she held herself back; she was on demon territory.*
"Damn him!"
*She knew he would do this, she knew he would force a meeting where he had the upper hand. The human also did have a point, if Cryax wanted her dead, he would have tried by now, she was sure of that. Raven was seething now, she knew this would happen, but it didnt calm her anger. She hated demon filth, and she was about to walk right into the lair of one of the most powerful.*
"Lead the way..."
*Raven balled her fists as she followed the human down into the city, until he could go no more. She glared at him as she past, moving farther in, towards the two lit torches. Indeed, she saw the outline of the door, and stood in front of it, letting her energy penetrate inside.*
"I'm here Cyrax, and I'm not afraid of you."

The large stone slabs, acting as the entry to Cyrax's lair, opened to allow the temptress access. Stories in the Dark Guild itself circled of how many had and would eventually die at the hands of their own master, so needless to say it was a rather dangerous place! It was disturbing also, to think that an ally could be at risk walking through the dark and damp halls.
What did happen to the large creature that fought Mernilior, Damian's spy?
As Raven moved forward through the cave she may have felt something, a feeling, starting to consume her. It was an ancient emotion to her, something that she hoped to experience again in her infinite lifetime. However, even if she met another, to supposedly fall in love, it would never compare to that of her Alexander.
The hero of past was a ruler of great reknown and controlled a vast empire that any conqueror would envy. However, more important to Raven was the fact that he ruled her heart. When he was murdered, by the very creatures she despised most, it changed her into something else. The change to Vampire was minor in comparison to the new rage she felt for her loss.
What Cyrax wanted from her to begin with, or what he knew of Alexander, seemed to become irrelevent as the temptress moved forward from the main tunnel.
The throne room, so dark and dreary, was set below the level of the path leading there. A set of stone stairs lead down to the area in front of the throne.
Raven stood at the top of the stairs, still lost in the feeling of her loved one, when suddenly the surroundings began to change. It was slow at first, but soon the dungeon transformed into a beautiful garden!
It seemed to be a moment from her past and the warm sun mixed with the scent of flowers brought her back to Babylon. Closing her eyes she remembered that day perfectly. If only her long lost love were there, as he was in the past, it would truly be real!
Raven opened her eyes and was utterly amazed that Alexander was standing before her!
The look in his eye was real, it was love for her. Did he have something to tell her?
Alexander opened his arms, with white attire glowing in the sunlight, and welcomed her.

*The large stone door that Raven stood in front of, swung open, and she peered inside. It was dark, but that didnt matter to the vampire, she could see in the dark as if it were day. She drew her dagger with her right hand and held it down by her side, and cautiously stepped inside. Slowly she traversed the long empty corridor, keeping all of her senses alert. So far, she didnt sense a demon was near, she knew Cyrax was here, but he wasnt an immediate threat.*
*It was then she sensed him, but it was impossible, for he was dead! But the raw emotion of love filled her, and it was love for her Alexander, no one else. His memories were forcing themselves to the front of her mind so he was all she could think about. She shook her head and wiped away the tears that came to her eyes. No, she couldnt lose herself right now. Alexander would have to wait. She was in the lair of a demon, and he needed all of her attention. Alexander would not want her to die because of him, and these memories would get her killed. Finally she was able to push him to the back of her mind.*
*She continued on until she came upon a set of stairs that led down into a throne room, but still she did not sense a demon. Cyrax was nowhere to be found...yet. She stood there for a few moments, when the scenery began to shift. It changed from an unknown demon room, to something more familiar. Something that her old human mind recognized. Her old garden in Babylon, the place that she and Alexander went to escape the world and just lay together in each others arms, basking in the warm sunlight.*
*It was only a few moments after the garden appeared that she saw her beloved, and he was standing in front of her, welcoming her. But...how? How could this be? He was dead! But no..he was standing here in front of her! No...nonono, this just wasnt right. It could only mean two things, either she was dead, and she was seeing Alexander in heaven, or this was an illusion. The first couldnt be true, for she was most definately not going to heaven, if there even was one. This was in no way what hell looked like, this was for sure. And besides, there was no way she could have died, she was an immortal being. The only possibility left was the illusion.*
*Raven looked back at the illusion of her love, and hated what she was about to do, but knew it had to be done if she were to surive. She looked at him with a look of pure love in her eyes, and ran to him, arms outstretched. As she felt his arms around her, she struck. The dagger was still in her right hand, and she drove it deep into the heart of the illusion, killing whatever monster Cyrax had thrown at her.*

Alexander could not believe what he was seeing. His love, his Raven, had run him through with her dagger!
"Why..........?"
The ancient Vampire was no fool and, in her heart, knew that Alexander could not be present in Cyrax's lair. It must have been a trick, an illusion, but who or what had a dagger embedded in them was now the question.
"I.....can not believe that you......"
Alexander looked down into his lover's eyes and soon the garden environment began to fade. Raven also peered deep into the eyes of her former love, her victim, but now she could see clearly that there was no soul and only evil inside!
"Bwahahahahaha"
From the dagger wound a thick dark purple mist began to pour out and fell slowly toward Alexander's feet.
"Finally, we meet again"
The form of Alexander began to fade away and soon the voided faced of Cyrax remained. His gleaming eyes were set on Raven and if she was not paying attention to her surroundings than she would be overcome by Dark Emanations (S).
In Cyrax's right hand was a large scythe with the dried blood of all races upon its blade. He would add yet another kill to the total count slain with his beloved weapon. However, before he destroyed Raven he felt compelled to tell her why she was there.
"It was all too easy to get you here......Miss Von Winter!"
The evil magician laughed out loud and in her face; directly assaulting the void in Raven's heart by replacing Mrs. with the widowed Miss.
How cruel, indeed!
"With Damian and his peons around, following you as well, i needed to get you alone" he said, laughing again afterwards
"You may not be aware of your importance to my master plan, but........"
Cyrax backed away from Raven, allowing her to ready for combat. He had foreseen events in the near future which would work against him and it included her. If she would not fight as his servant than she would be slaughtered.
"It requires your head to come to fruition!"
The blade of Cyrax's scythe began to glow a purplish color and his left hand began to illuminate as well. It was time!

*The illusion of her Alexander faded away to reveal Cyrax, and she looked at him through glowing red eyes. She grinned while she twisted the dagger that pierced his heart. The poisonous black mist, Dark Emanations, flowed from the wound, and wrapped around her neck, like hands trying to choke her. Raven shook her head, and the mist dissapeared. Poison didnt affect vampires, but the demon wrapped around her body would. She had run to Alexander, expecting one of Cyrax's monsters. But it was Cyrax himself, and the dagger to his heart didnt kill him. Raven needed to think of something, and fast. She looked into his glowing purple eyes and bared her fangs. Raven plunged the sharp canine teeth into the demons neck, wishing she didn't have to do this. There was another option she could do, but she didnt want to use up her magic when she didnt need to. She might need her abilities to escape with her life later, and drinking demon blood would enable her move away from the clutches of Cyrax's arms now.*
*She wanted to cause him pain, but he was a demon, and they thrived on pain, so just like with Alexander, she allowed the demon to feel pure pleasure as she twisted his mind. Either way, she figured he'd like it, but thats not why she did it. She needed him to go into a trance for just a few seconds so she was able to escape from his arms around her. After her fangs made two neat holes in the demons skin, she positioned her lips around them and began to drink. Unlike the fox, this blood was thick, dark, and metallic tasting. Also unlike the fox, she didn't pull away quickly, she just continued to drink and drink and drink, until any normal being would be drained and fall in a lifeless heap.*
*In the few seconds she'd have, she pulled out of the grasp of Cyrax and moved backwards so they were out of each other reach. He was in a trance, but could still see her as she took the blood soaked dagger, and licked it while staring into his purple eyes, grinning seductively at him. Her own eyes continued to glow red, but every now and then, she would later notice, that flecks of purple joined the red, mimicking the demons who's blood she took.*
"Your blood courses through my veins now demon."
*Raven began to summon her Rage Of Fire, as she spoke to Cyrax, taunting him in his trancelike state.*
"Now part of you will live forever after I destroy you."
*Raven didnt have to look down to see the fire burning in her hands, but she noticed that Cryax did. Without giving him any notice, she shot two streams of fire at him, and she could only hope that he didnt come out of the trance before the fire hit.*

The purple glow enveloping Cyrax's left hand was not just for show. This Demon was far more powerful than any Raven had fought in the past. She would soon see why!
The fire attack, which would have smoldered a weaker enemy, was deflected by a Dark Shield (S)!
A dark purple sphere protected the evil magician from the attack and now he was pissed!
Cyrax was amused by Raven's attempt to defeat him, but furious at her feeding on his demonic blood! Only a fool like Raphael would do such a thing.
True, it slightly enhanced the natural powers but many gifts also come with a curse.
"I see there is no calming your hatred for my kind" he exlaimed, flailing his scythe around wildly.
Remnants of the blaze sent at him, by Raven, were still dissipating all around but that weak attack would not be enough to kill him.
"You are pathetic and it does not suprise me, seeing as how you are a parasitic Vampire!" he yelled, moving his left hand to the punture wounds.
He had backed away from Raven, during the assault, so Cyrax cast another spell to close the distance on his prey. He suddenly disappeared into the shadows!
Appearing suddenly, right in front of Raven, Cyrax already had his scythe raised to strike. With the Vampire's heightened senses she probably felt his approach, but if she was hit with the dark enchanted weapon she would be in serious trouble.

*Damn, the trance she put him in from drinking his blood faded away and he was able to block her fire attack. Part of her was glad it did, because now she would be able to test her skills against a powerful demon. Damian had defeted Cyrax, and if Raven couldn't defete Cyrax, she'd have a hard time defeating Damian. If Cyrax couldn't block a simple fire spell, then the stories she had heard about him were wrong. Because he was able to break a vampire trance in mere seconds proved he was powerful. She drank enough blood from him to kill a normal being, and it seemingly didn't affect him. It worried her slightly, but not enough to let her guard down.*
*Raven scowled at the demons words, and he fueled her rage even further, allowing her powers to grow. She kept her eyes on him the entire time, watching him back away, and then he vanished! She sensed him, but couldnt see him. Damn those invisibility spells! She had her dagger ready, watching for him to reappear, for he would surely strike as soon as he could. Slowly she backed away, eyes scanning for the demon. He senses screamed at her as he appeared right in front of her. Cyrax had his scyth ready to strike, and if she didnt do anything soon, his dark weapon would slice right through her.*
*This was exactly why she hadn't used her magic sooner, now she was able to use Particle Seperation. She wasn't sure exactly how many times she could use it in such a short span of time, but she was glad she had it now. She was never in this bad of a situation as she was now. Just as Cyrax swung at her, she dissappeared, but not like him. This wasn't just an invisibility spell, this magic let her change her body into particles, atoms, as it were. She was in essence, air, free to move as she pleased, and still able to keep all her vampiric senses. Nothing could harm her in this state, though she also could do no harm.*
"Missed me!"
*She taunted the demon, and her voice echoed throughout the room. Since she had no lips, the voice would seem to come from nowhere, and everywhere. Cyrax would not be able to even guess where she would reappear...if she did. Oh, but she would, she wasn't finished this demon yet, she had a few more tricks up her sleeve. While Cyrax was looking around for her, just like she had done with him a few moments ago, she reappeared within seconds, in front of him. Before he even had a chance to attack, she plunged her dagger into the empty hole that was the demons face.*
"Your kind will never last! Goodbye Cyrax!"

Cyrax would have laughed if someone told him that Raven would be a challenge. This was his domain! He was one of the most powerful beings in two realms! How could she come to his crypt and humiliate him?
However, it was true, Raven was indeed a formidable opponent. Her particle spell allowed for not only attack evasion, but also invisibility. It was so impressive, most likely due to her mastery over the ages, that Cyrax could not detect her location! Normally he could sense enemies using invisibility spells but this was too much.
When she appeared, the dark magician was truly suprised. He did not have enough time to avoid the attack and her dagger was plunged deep into his black void face!
Raven would probably question later why her foe seemed to welcome the attack. For now though, she would simply enjoy the high pitched yell of her injured prey before death.
Cyrax screeched out loud, in agony, and backed away from the ancient Vampire before pulling the weapon out of his face. The same dark purple vapor that came from his first wound began to pour out in a steady flow. It quickly wrapped around his body, engulfing him fully, and when it finally cleared he was gone!
Raven's dagger was on the ground, still tainted with black blood and purple emanations. The weapon would be famous for being the one to slay Cyrax the Evil, former master of Damian Thakis. Also upon the floor was a key.
With Cyrax gone, Raven was finally alone in the dungeon. She could explore further, with the possibility of getting into more conflict, or she could turn around to leave. However, with such keen sense, she could feel the presence of some...thing.
Raven walked toward the throne and stood, looking down at the key in front of it. She was wondering if it was another of Cyrax's traps and before she could actually respond, something caught her attention.
There was an open door behind the throne which led to the lower level of the dungeon. If Raven decided to move on, she would find a series of prison cells at the bottom of the spiral staircase. To the left was the door to Cyrax's crypt and that was probably not the best route. To the right, however, there was a wooden door. What the room contained was unknown to any of the guild members other than Cyrax, of course.

*Raven watched as the demon formerly known as Cyrax dissappeared in front of her eyes...dead? It was too easy, and Raven didn't believe for a second that the powerful demon was gone. She wished with all her being that he was, but deep down, she knew something was astir.*
*Once all traces of Cyrax was gone, including the purple mist, she picked up her dagger, held it to her face and studied it, wondering if this was the last of the black blood that would ever flow from this particular demon. Her eyes never faded back to their normal black, but continued to stay red. After all, she was still in the lair of a demon, dead or not. She glanced around to see if there was anything in the dungeon with her, and there was nothing she could sense. Well there was something that kept nagging at her, but she didn't know what it was. Quickly, she licked the blood from the dagger and sheathed it.*
*Even though her senses told her nothing was in the dungeon, she still wanted to explore it a bit. She was still on the blood high feeding gave her, and the excitement from killing a powerful demon. There was no way she was leaving yet. When she came upon the throne, there was a key on the ground next to it. She did wonder if this was one of Cyrax's tricks, but if he were still alive, and baiting her like this, she must find him and kill him. She knelt down and picked up the key, examining it closely. It looked like any other ordinary key, but she knew it must have some hidden magical properties to it. She dropped it in her pocket and stood up, facing an open door that she didnt notice was there earlier.*
*The doorway opened to a spiral staircase, which Raven cautiously traversed down. Once at the bottom, she saw prison cells and two more doors, the one on the left, smelled immensely of Cyrax, and Raven guessed that it must be his private lair. The door on the right was wooden and smelled of many different things. She now had three choices, one of which she'd already decided against. The other two were looking her straight in the eye. Cyrax's lair, or something completely unknown to her, and prolly most of Cyrax's own guild.*
*Raven's whole goal in coming here was to kill the demon, nothing else mattered. So, even though it may be more dangerous if the demon still lived, she decided to go to the left, into Cyrax's lair. If he was dead, then no problem, she'd loot and take whatever she could carry. If he was alive, then she'd kill him. Then if she had time she could go and explore the rest of the dungeon, but Cyrax was her first priority.*

It was an interesting choice, Raven's decision to go left toward Cyrax's crypt instead of right; through the door the key was intended for. She was truly brave and determined now, more than ever, to rid the world of all Demons. Her chosen destiny was somewhat ironic though, seeing as how Demon blood was mixed with her own. Still, she wanted to start her 'crusade' and what better way than with the death of Cyrax.
The problem was, however, that she still felt a powerful presence. It was as if he was still there, stalking in the shadows! How could that be if she had slain him?
Raven could smell the charred flesh of the victims lining the walls as she continued toward the crypt. It was pitch black, with no torches lit, but it was not like she needed light anyway.
The key, in her pocket, was removed and tried on the large wooden door. However, it was not for this door! If she wanted to attempt breaking through with magic, she would find it worthless as the spell protecting it was far too strong. Amazingly, and disturbingly, there was no need as the door opened itself!
If the ancient Vampire lived through this journey, she would have many stories to share. Stories that would make mighty heroes tremble in their boots!
Her curiousity for Cyrax seemed to be growing and he liked that. Was it strictly her desire to slay him that drove her forward, into the crypt, or was there a new thirst for power? If it were the latter, than Raven would be all the more easy to manipulate. After all, such desires always cloud logic and reason; leaving one vulnerable to the enemy.
She entered the private domain of Cyrax and the smell, to her heightened senses, must have been putrid!
Pieces of things were scattered all over the floor and soaked in pools of blood. Stained instruments were also spread throughout, on the slap operating tables as well as the floor.
Raven looked around for anything important or useful to her. More than anything, she looked for Cyrax but he was no where to be found. Well, that is, until she noticed a small chest sitting on a shelf built into the wall.
The door behind her began to close, whether she knew it or not. Also, there seemed to be something or someone moving in the corner of the room. There were candles inside the crypt and a few of them began to flutter suddenly.
From the shadows, dark purple emanations began to flow into the room. It was not a magical attack against Raven, but instead simply symbolizing the presence of Cyrax!
He appeared from the darkness with multiple wounds in his chest and they were all seeping with deadly poison. It had no effect on the Vampire, but if she was as keen as had been proven than she would have noticed the obvious difference in injury.
"I must admit, Lady Von Winter, that i misjudged your abilities" he muttered, coughing up black smoke immediately after.
The dark figure moved into the light so that Raven could see. He wanted her to notice, to sense, the rage in his burning eyes!
Still, Cyrax was quite old himself and could restrain himself from becoming a crazed maniac. He calmed down slightly, still aggravated by her previous spell against him, and smiled across his non-existent face.
"Hmmm.... let us play a game......"
Cyrax's scythe appeared in his right hand and with his left he grabbed an hourglass from a shelf.
"Is a minute enough for a skilled warrior such as yourself?" he asked, followed by a hideous laugh.
He was taunting her, challenging Raven to defeat him in a minute. She was more than likely unaware of why his time was limited, but nonetheless the challenge was offered!
Placing the hourglass down, Cyrax readied his scythe for battle. If Raven could defeat him, again, than she would be entitled to the chest inside the crypt. Also, the other door at the end of the hall was yet to be explored.

*The door opening on its own startled Raven a little and she shook her head, embarrassed, then walked inside. She kept her senses fully alert; she was going farther then she'd ever ventured before just to kill a demon. Being rid of a powerful demon like this would strengthen her reputation, and make other demons fear her. Once Cyrax was dead, she'd go after Damian.*
*Raven did fear that she'd become power hungry, the rush of demonic blood in her veins made her crave more. Somehow she felt it gave her more strength in a way. She stalked through crypt, looking for any trace of the demon, her eyes flicked over the chest in the corner but she kept on moving, ignoring every discusting thing she passed. There were puddles of blood on the floor, but none of it was from the demon Cyrax. Her dagger was back in her hand before she knew it when she sensed him. The door slammed shut and the purple mist suddenly appeared in the room.*
*Cyrax was in the room, standing in front of her, alive, but wounded, and wounded in places that she had not done. Through her hatred, a confused look could be seen in her eyes, but she didn't let it linger for long; she was ready to finish the injured demon off once and for all. Raven snickered at him when he admitted that he'd misjudged her abilities.*
"Thats how a lot of people die."
*Raven noticed the rage in Cyrax's eyes, and she didn't blame him, but she too had rage in her eyes, and she felt her fire begining to rise again. She'd already killed him once, she hoped this would be the last time she had to; for there were other things that she needed to tend to that didn't involve Cryax.*
*She began to circle him, preparing another attack on him when he mentioned playing a game with her. Raven didn't like games, she didn't often play them either, but this one sounded interesting. One minute...one minute to kill the demon. She didn't know if one minute was enough, the killing part she knew she'd do, but one minute... He said it was a game, games had clear winners and clear losers; winning this game meant she killed him in one minute, but if she didn't, she'd lose... What losing meant, she wasn't sure she was wanted to know, but she needed to before she accepted.*
"And what if I don't defeat you in one minute? What happens if I lose?"

Cyrax began his signature evil laugh after Raven asked her silly question. What would happen if she could not defeat him in under a minute?
"Bwahahaha!"
Clearly if Raven could not defeat him she would be dead. However, what she really meant was the outcome of lasting a minute without either being slain. It seemed tricks and traps were on the Vampire's mind, so she was attempting to see through another if possible. After all, one could never be sure in knowing what Cyrax was up to.
He shook his head, in response to Raven, and then pointed to the hourglass. It was already running down and the more she talked the more time was wasted.
"Women...." he said, shrugging slightly afterward.
"They talk too much!"
The dark magician circled Raven in the open area of the crypt between the two stone slab tables and she did the same. They were sizing each other up, yet again, for another encounter and as they did this their feet were dragging through the cold blood on the floor. If Raven was not careful she could possibly slip on a severed arm!
Cyrax was going to use his momentum this time, having the Vampire trapped in the crypt, and struck outward with the long scythe in his right hand. He had to bring his left over to aid in the attack, considering the weapon being two handed, but it was all for nothing anyway. Raven had ducked the attack with ease and it seemed obvious that her speed was far superior in every way!
If Cyrax were to defeat her, he would have to do it in the way he was most known for. It was true that Raven had speed, rage, and determination on her side, but there was no doubt the dark magician reigned supreme in the magical arts. The Vampire's spells and abilities were certainly powerful, probably unique, but only few could possibly compare with that of which Cyrax possessed.
Raven used her opportunity to strike, after ducking the swinging attack, so she bolted to the left away from the momentum of Cyrax's attack. She jumped to the side of a stone slab table and then off of it in a mere second. The ease at which she made it look was amazing and disturbing altogether. When another slash opened on Cyrax's right side it was clear that she had control of melee combat.
Cyrax turned quickly to face her, now behind him, and he looked down at the new wound with growing rage. It would go unnoticed by Raven, but when he was sliced the sand in the hourglass seemed to accelerate slightly.
The dark magician knew what had to be done, so he casted Shadow Clones. Now, to Raven's despair, there were 21 Cyrax's present inside the crypt!
"Bwahahahaha!"
They all laughed in unison after appearing around the entire perimeter of the room. Cyrax had disappeared into the group, as soon as Raven began to sense the many others now standing behind her, and soon after they all attacked at once.
However, there seemed to be something about Raven that disturbed Cyrax immediately before the charge. She was not afraid, at all!
The clones charged forward and Raven never moved, not even to defend. When they reached the target, every clone attacked all at once and from every angle!
Finally sparking could be seen and from the dense darkness of multiple Cyrax's, Raven could be seen deflecting the only real attack that mattered!!
Cyrax's scythe, which is surrounded by dark energy, was locked with Raven's weapons and the two struggled in the center of the crypt. He had no time to question how Raven knew the cloner were simply images but there was no time to. Pushing her away, with a burst of strength, Cyrax began to illuminate a purplish aura which surrounded his entire body. While Raven probably wondered what was happening, he used Demon's Rage to send a mighty blast wave toward her!
The ancient Vampire raised her weapons and tried to defend, but it was no use. She was sent flying backward into the crypt wall! Glass shattered and shelves were destroyed as she smashed into them and then rolled onto the floor in pain.
Cyrax was about to taunt his foe, as usual, but was halted by a feeling of urgency. He looked to the hourglass on the table and the sand was falling at a rapid pace!
