When the Old Ones lost their claim over this world, Illyria's corpse was placed in a stone sarcophagus, her powers were drained and placed in jewels embedded on her coffin. Her sarcophagus was placed in a mystical graveyard known as the Deeper Well along with the coffins of other Old Ones. Before falling, Illyria planned her resurrection. She hid her temple in a different time plane, rendering it completely intangible, until she could return to open the gateway and enter it. Illyria's army was placed there as well, waiting to be raised once again by its leader.

Illyria’s sarcophagus teleported from the bottom of the Deeper Well, were the old ones were kept, to the center of the city Zjevha. Her predesntined arrival had been complete and she had been reborn. For everytime she was reborn she was given a body more suitable and blendable to the dominate race at that time.
The sarcophagus’s jewels began to glimmer with light. The southern part of Azia began to shake as the top of the coffin was blown off. Only smoke was seen, then a girl,a girl with blue hair and red armor. Her name was Illyria, a great demon warrior who existed before men, Illyria was both beloved and feared before being murdered by rivals and left to drift in the 'Deeper Well', a burial ground for all the old ones located in the City of Zjevha.

[Purple]“Things change, given enough time…”[/Purple]
The voice may startle the newly awakened demon, or it may not, but it was spoken regardless. The voice came from behind Illyria, the source being Thul’Darus, the necromancer in the service of Damian Thakis. He serves as the commander of his demon army, and was simply on a patrol around Zjevha, the city which he resides in, when the ground shook. Worried at first, then purely curious, he gathered a pair of Gargoyles and began searching about the perimeter of the city, before he stumbled upon the now present demon Illyria. Thul’Darus, older than even Damian and Cyrax, had seen ancient drawings of this creature, knowing her by name but not knowing much about her.
[Purple]“Welcome back, Illyria, if that is what name you go by now…”[/Purple]
From behind Thul’Darus, two Gargoyles made their presence known. The heavy breathing and the hissing sounds were obvious enough, but when they spotted Illyria, the demons let out a shrill screech comparable to nails on a chalkboard. It wasn’t loud enough to do harm to the eardrums, like they could easily do, but simply was a method of showing their excitement. It had been a long time since any of the demons on Azia were able to feed on something living…
[Purple]“Now, what are you doing here…? If my memory serves me well, wasn’t your empire based in Jericho…? This island belongs to Damian Thakis, and Zjevha… You are not welcome here.”[/Purple]
The Gargoyles at Thul’Darus side had bloodlust evident in their eyes, as they awaited his command to strike. Gargoyles are fast, vicious, and devilishly clever, and would enjoy playing with their meal before actually killing it. Thul’Darus, however, did not order them to attack, quite yet. Instead, he was going to allow Illyria a moment to speak and leave. However, not trusting the ancient demon, clutched in his left hand was his trusty spell book, which would allow him to combat Illyria if he must, though it wasn’t exactly something he looked forward to doing.

“This world, It is not how I left it…”
Were the last words uttered from Illyria’s lips before an eerie voice that seemed to generate right into to her ear lobe spoke to her. Illyria was not scared so to speak but curious. If this mysterious voice knew of half of her power they would learn not to envoke the wrath of Illyria. Illyria’s strength has somewhat been contained into this new human shell. Her full power had been locked away and had not been seen for millions of years.
Illyria knew now the voice originated from behind her. She turned to see what to her looked like a human with darker skin. She was curious and as her curiosity grew so did her sadness. She began to learn she was the only one left of the Old Ones for her sarcophagus was indestructible. At least she knew now that she had acolytes still roaming this earth but they obviously were not this man. His voice was neither humble nor appraising.
“Yes Illyria is the name I come by…”
Questioning the intentions of this man she lifted one foot out of the sarcophagus followed by the other. She was then questioned by this man as if he was significant enough to talk to her.
“My acolytes planned my resurrection so that I may come back to this world and claim it for my own once again... Before I answer to you one more question tell me what this Jericho you speak of is and what is this shell that I have taken the form of, it is weak and restricting to my power. I would have thought this race would have died out years ago…”
Her new shell was that of a human, a human girl. Why her acolytes choose this case for her she did not know but she hoped she would still have the strength to be a threat the natives of this time period who would be her first victim she would not know. At the moment she wanted to get to the origin of her army and summon them to begin her reign on earth…

The demon before him was strange, acting human, but at the same time not. From the little information that Thul’Darus knew about her, was that she is ancient… well over a million years old, but presumed dead. Obviously that part of the story wasn’t exactly true. She was demanding, which Thul’Darus didn’t appreciate much, considering she wasn’t exactly in the position to be demanding.
[Purple]“Jericho is a city, which is located on a different continent, to the west… The city itself is on the far northwestern side of the continent. As for your shell, you appear to be human, though I know different, obviously, but they are still around today.”[/Purple]
Thul’Darus looked at the two Gargoyles at his sides, considering what to do, before giving the demon one more chance. She was powerful, granted, but in her human form she was restricted as she herself said. It would be wise to eliminate her now before she became a threat to Damian. Raising his right hand in the air, Thul’Darus signaled for the Gargoyles to attack, and without hesitation they obeyed.
The gargoyle’s took flight, soaring several feet above Illyria, though Thul’Darus was sure she was aware of what was transpiring. With a high pitched screech, the pair dived, claws ready as one soared down at and angle ready to latch onto Illyria’s back, while the other went for her front. They wanted blood, flesh, and actually more than food, to have fun.
[Purple]“You ignored my question, Illyria… You may have been considered a god a millennia ago, but now you mean nothing.”[/Purple]

This Jericho… was a city. Illyria now had a purpose; she must go to Jericho now and retrieve her army and lay claim and waste to this land. As for her shell… she would dispose of it as soon as she could find a more suitable one, one that could contain all of her power. But, first she must deal with this person in front of her he was still not pleased with her arrival. He had belittled her, and that in itself was a crime to her she became angry and frustrated at his man but did not show it. She kept the same curious look on her face from when she was released.
The creatures which seem to act like bodyguards to this man rose into the air as if to attack. They were unclean not pure as she was pure in the blood and age sense but her shell was not. She figured she might as well get used to the body while she had it.
Illyria waved her hand as if to cast an enchantment or spell or some kind of defensive but of no avail, nothing happened. She was shocked inside, she knew her power was taken but she did not think by that much for is she could not alter time she would not be able to create the time warp that allowed her to travel to get her army… She waved once more only to disappear in front of the gargoyles eyes. She had slowed time down entirely, she looked up to see the gargoyles spiraling down to attack her yet they were almost stopped in time. She leaped up with her incredible strength she was able to reach the height that the gargoyles were at. She hit them both downward by thrusting downward with her palms. The gargoyles were very keen they saw her disappear and ceased there dive only to both feel massive thrusts from behind and sending them crashing to the ground with their spines twisting. She reappeared a few feet in front of the elf. Gazing into his eyes with her head tilted in anger and confusion.
“These creatures are nothing compared what you will have to deal with when I’ve gathered my army. You would rather I be with you then against you, yes? Regardless I don't need you or your information anymore.”
Feeling that her appearance would not be enough to make him tremble, she had to show off a little. To the eye it would seem as though she moved so fast it was unseeable but, in fact she slowed the area around her so that she would be able to travel freely.
She waved again disappearing before Thul’Darus's he flinched but only for a second. Illyria was now behind him, her right hand in the shape of a blade. She then stabbed right through the Dark Elf's stomach. When she removed her hand she pulled out various organs to insure his death. His body dropped to the ground bleeding all over it.
"My Strength is slowly returning, I will be a god once again..."
Illyria now knowing the task at hand she placed herself back into her Sarcoughugus and her and the tomb vanished only to appear in the outskirts of Jericho.
