Just design the perfect band, state what type of music they play and then fill in the positions of the band!
Play: Rock/Metal
Singer: Jack Black (Tenacious D) Rhythm Guitar: Noel Gallager (Oasis) Lead Guitar: Kirk Hammet (Metallica) Bass Guitar: Mark Hoppus (Blink 182) Drums: Dave Grohl (Nirvana/Foo Fighters)
Jack Black is an amazing singer I think, and brings sexyness to the band. Noel Gallager is a very good rhythm guitarist and often does lead. Kirk Hammet is a great soloist, mainly does blues solos which is cool. Mark Hoppus is a very underated bass player, he also has a good voice incase backup singing is needed. Dave Grohl is easily one of the best drummers at the moment, though he rarely does it anymore, he is fast and mean.

Style; Metal
First Vocalist; Cristian Machado (Ill Nino) Second Vocalist/Acoustic Guitar; Aaron Lewis (Staind) Rhythm Guitar; Marc Rizzo (ex-Ill Nino) Lead Guitar; Adam Strazzanti (Disarm Goliath) Bass; Steve Surch[/b[ (Disarm Goliath) Drums; Joey Jordison (Slipknot) Keyboard; Klayton (Celldweller)
Pretty big band, but hey, its my dream team. Cristian Machado is an amazing vocalist, fluent in spanish and english, who can roar as good as any man I have ever heard, whereas Aaron Lewis does the most amazing soft vocals, and some pretty nasty heavy vocals, despite the hoarse-y voice. Joeys drums are spectacular, and Klaytons keyboard skills are phenomenal. Of the Disarm Goliath members (a local band), Adam is the best guitarist I have ever heard, with a fucking sweet guitar to bat, and Steve has such a dominating stage presense. plus Marc Rizzos spanish-latino-inspired guitar skills would give the songs that extra edge into perfection. That would be my dream team..

Rythym Guitar(Second Vocals[Yes I have 2 2nds]): Mike Ness[Social Distortion]

Hm...
Style would be progressive rock.
Lead vocalist: Heather Findlay (Mostly Autumn) Rhythm guitar/backing vocalist: Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree) Lead guitar: Takaakira Goto (Mono) Bass guitar: John Myung (Dream Theater) Keyboards: Neal Morse (Spock's Beard, Transatlantic) Drums: Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden)
-Heather Findlay- incredible voice, nice range.
-Steven Wilson- massive talent, very dedicated, and willing to experiment with his music. He's the lead vocalist for his band, too.
-Taka Goto- Mono are known for their complex guitar work, and he's one of the guitarists. Normally has quite a mellow sound, which contrasts with the range of Wilson.
-John Myung- One of the best bassists ever, edges out Mark King, amongst others.
-Neal Morse- Very good on keyboards, can sing too, and is very enthusiastic about his work.
-Nicko McBrain- There are faster/more talented players out there, but he always sounds very professional and precise when he strikes the drums. Plus, he's a laugh to have around.
That might not sound too great as a combination, but they're amongst my favourites...tough to leave out some musicians though, isn't it?
