Celamir and Donatus flew through the forests, they had earlier made a mistake and a party of Sobek soldiers tried to pursue them. Obviously they were not prepared for the routes Celamir took, helped by the trees which opened up for them, and came back closed for the guards, which gave the Elves the upper hand, eventually leading them to escape unharmed. However now they were pretty lost. With a huff Donatus fell back onto a rock and rested while Celamir looked around curiously as if he had lost something.
"What is it?" The Dark Elf asked opening a single eye after a brief rest. Still the Wood Elf looked around now bent over looking at the ground. Donatus was about to speak again but Celamir put his hand behind him and signalled to shut up. Tracks were on the ground, the like he had not saw for many many years, they were Dragon prints, but the last of the Dragons was supposed to be dead!?
He walked on at a crouwtch looking at the ground as he moved onwards, the Dark Elf followed wondering what he was doing, but also noticing the tracks, ones he had not seen before. They moved still onwards, swatting away leaves, twigs and bushes to get towards a clearing, where the air was humid, hot and clammy.
Celamir ran forward and Donatus stood still, the Wood Elves feet as light as ever, not making a single noise, he ran onto of a bolder, and nearly fell down at what he saw. Suddenly a roar was heard, and a great scream like noise. The two elves held their ears, Celamir keeping a close watch. The Dragon did not move, it was cornered in a cave. It blew smoke and steam from it's nostrils as it held it's ground.
"Who are you!? How can you be a Dragon? They are extinct, are they not?" Celamir said, as Donatus released his grip on his ears, his eyes picking up at what his friend said. With a gleeful step the Dark Elf hopped up onto the rock, and looked down with wide eyes. Smite did not like this one bit, his secret was now open for all to know unless he did something...
"You will shut up or die!" The Dragon shouted as his talons clawed the grass, dragging dirt up from out of it in a worried ryhtme. The Wood Elf laughed, his eyes wider than the Dark Elf, he was beginning to wonder, so many idea came to his head, he knew no Dragon lived but Smite a few years ago, so this had to be him, how he had no idea but he would have to ask.
"O King of Dragons, how is it you live?" Smite's face grew from worried, to awestruck, not only had he been found, but now without saying anything his secret was totally out. He snorted again, both annoyed and angry and left back into the deep cave, which Celamir quickly blocked by running around and putting his arms out.
"You have no idea what this means! My master will want to meet you, please come with me, o Grand King?" Smite looked at the Elf who was level with his head, something he never did get used to, he felt so small compared with his old figure, but those days were over, he was in a way far superior now, fast, agile, slimlined, and overall more dangerous.
"...and who might this master of yours be? If he means to beg for my help you can forget it. You may be calling me by my old name, back when I actually cared for your races, but I am passed that phase, and I will not help any petty fights you may have, now let me passed before I get annoyed."
"You won't be asked to fight, help or anything like that. My master is Damian Thakis, grand Dark Master of this world, the one who brought you the head of Cyrax, the one who allowed you revenge, will you not repay that debt by visiting him?"
Smite stared at the Elf, wanting to be sure he was not joking around. It was true, he did allow Smite revenge, and he did defeat that overly-egoed Demon, yet he did not feel that needed much pay back. Finally he spoke after thinking hard on the offer. "We never did talk did we. I may be inclinded to go with you, however I do not travel in this form, there is much I have learnt since 20 years ago. However this once, I shall go as myself. Let us fly to where?"
After a quick chat and directions the two Elves jumped onto Smite's back, holding on for dear life as he took off with the same strength and speed he always had, if not more. Darkness came over the land, and above the clouds he soared high, locating the island, and soon landing, if it ment his secret could be kept as it was, for a short visit then so be it...
